Students Must Respect School Computers
by Jon Zrostlik
Within the first few days that the student body has returned to the high school, crime is already at hand. An act of vandalism has occurred in the library to a few of the computers students rely on daily. Damage, although minimal, was not a surprise to officials such as Mr. Hawley but even so the issue was one of respect.
The student who is responsible has yet to be identified. Was it a random act of rebellion or one big mistake? Whichever it could have been the intentions of the student remains unknown.
Funds are running lower due to the economy. In these times, more expensive yet helpful tools such as computers become tough to replace when damaged or broken. Therefore, the main issue remains to create a respectful environment where such problems do not exist.
Naturally, the school only hopes that the students respect their property.
