Musical Auditions to be held Nov. 16

Musical veterans, Stacy Phipps and Nate Curlott
The musical Bye, Bye Birdie is enjoying a revival on the Broadway stage. Never to be outdone, Lancer Productions is bringing back the same musical to the North Scott stage.
Auditions will be on Monday, November 16 at 3:30 in the choir room. If you would like to try out, even if it’s your first time ever, please plan to sing a song, dance a little and have a current picture of yourself with you.
Bye, Bye Birdie askes the musical “What’s the Matter with Kids Today?” It is a story about a rock star who will symbolically kiss a young girl before being drafted. The plot is complicated by an ambitious song writer who hopes to have the singer sing his song on the Ed Sullivan Show.
So, if you’re planning on a try out, do some research into popular music in 1963.
